Examination board for Bachelor's and Master's degrees
The members are elected by the Faculty Council. The committee is responsible for the following:
- All questions regarding examinations at the MWI and the contents of the examination regulations.
- Recognition/credit transfer.
- Compensation for disadvantages
Please submit all applications in writing to the committee's post box (number 1).
The Examination Committee meets in closed session.
Please address any questions regarding applications and meetings to the committee office.

Admissions Committee Master I Selection Committee Bachelor
The committee draws up the official proposals for admission to the Master's programme.
The commission selects the students who are to be proposed for admission.
The members are elected by the faculty.

Teaching Working Group
The Teaching Working Group is a forum where student and lecturer representatives meet to discuss issues relating to studying and teaching at the Max Weber Institute for Sociology across all status groups.
We meet regularly, at least twice per semester.
We deal with topics such as the transparency of assessment criteria and subject-specific rules for academic writing.

Direktorium
The Max Weber Institute for Sociology is managed by a board of directors. It decides on matters concerning the institute, unless the decision is assigned to other bodies, committees or persons by law, the university's constitution or these statutes. The board of directors comprises all professors whose field of work is assigned to the institute.
