Postdoc Vincent Ramos
Research Profile
Social Demography I Labor Market Institutions I Social Stratification I Applied Quantitative Methods
My research interests thread two domains: (i) social stratification and social demography and (ii) labor market institutions. I am specifically interested in workers’ socio-demographic responses to employment uncertainty and mobilization responses to insufficiency and discontent. I employ a range of quantitative methods (descriptive, quasi-experimental, and experimental designs) on both representative surveys and novel collected data, focusing on country-specific contexts. At the MWI, I work within the ERC-SOCDEBT project, led by Nora Waitkus, where I lead projects around debt accumulation over the life course and across population subgroups.
