Claudia Schmiedeberg ist one of the principal investigators and project coordinator of the German Longitudinal Environmental Study (GLEN), a large-scale panel study about environmental attitudes and behaviors funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
Her research centers on survey methodology, family sociology, and environmental social science. She is especially interested in how structural, personal, and social factors interact to shape environmentally relevant behaviors. Within family research, she focuses on the dynamics and dysfunctions in couple relationships using survey experiments as well as panel data to analyze these processes over time.
