heiSKILLS Fellowships Fellowship – AI in Teaching awarded to Prof. Dr Stefen Bär and Dr Léa Renard
Neue Fellowships unterstützen die Entwicklung innovativer Lehr-Lern- und Prüfungsformate
Fellowships from the university’s Centre of Excellence and Language Centre, heiSKILLS, and the Heidelberg School of Education (HSE) were awarded for the first time. They offer lecturers the opportunity to develop and trial new teaching, learning and assessment formats. In addition, Prof. Hertel recognised three innovative teaching projects.
The project “Using AI to improve reading skills” by Prof. Bär and Dr Renard was recognised. The project aims to involve the participatory development and delivery of a reading course in the field of sociological theory, in which students can acquire skills in text comprehension, summarisation and revision through the use of an AI chatbot.
